Location of the trial: Marismas Bajas de Lebrija (Seville).
Tested on 4 hectares in open field of the industrial variety W23. Two foliar applications were made with 2.5 kg/ha of LABICUAJE, 10 kg in total. We applied the product at the beginning of the first flowering and just after flowering. On the same surface and at the same dose, we applied a competitive product, also referred to for the CUTTING. We analyzed the kg of tomato/ha and the average Brix degrees obtained. The results are shown in the following two graphs:
Conclusions
With the application of the product LABICUAJE, compared to the competitive product for fruit set, we obtained an increase of 3.54% (almost 5 kg more tomato per hectare) in tomato production and an increase of 7% in Brix degrees. In addition, on the same farm, the average kg of tomato/ha obtained in the last 5 years was 126.12 kg/ha. The average Brix degrees in the last 5 years on the farm was 4.6.
